MEET THE MAKER

Howdy,

My name is Anna Pickering & I am the owner and creator behind AP Brand Designs!

I currently attend Texas A&M University studying Ag Communications & Journalism {gig ‘em 👍}.

AP was started in December 2020 and honestly, I had no clue what I was doing. I thought this business would be a pretty rad way to make an impact and jumped right in. 

Although I’ve come to love the Brazos Valley, I’m originally from a town just outside of Texarkana known as Redwater, Texas. There, I spent all of my time at leadership events and with a calf halter in hand. This past September we added an office assistant, Teskey, and life’s been peachy ever since.

None of this would have been possible without the support of my family and friends. Whether I run out of room in my car or need help prepping for a sale, they always come to my rescue and lend a helping hand. They have truly been a blessing throughout this journey.

THE BRAND

The AP brand is one that I hold close, as it was originally my Brahman cattle brand designed by me & my dad. I grew up showing Brahman cattle & was heavily involved in FFA. Every afternoon was spent in the show barn & every weekend was a jackpot show. While in college, I decided to repurpose the brand for this little biz.

Although the brand serves a new purpose, you can still catch us set up at a cattle show nearly every weekend. AP was founded on the idea that everyone has their own brand. Around here, we have a passion for agriculture advocacy and the stock show industry.
